Other Ally CD rates are in various terms and all have no minimum opening or maintenance deposit requirements.

The highest CD rates are nearly all the way through with a 3 month term giving a 1.20% APY, 6 months a 1.55% APY, and 9 months at 1.60% APY. One year or 18 months both give a 2.00% APY.

Longer terms for Ally Bank CD rates are two years at 2.30% APY, 3 years at 2.70% APY, 4 years at 2.95% APY, and five years at 3.40% APY.

Overall, these are some of the highest CD rates around the nation right now. Current CD rates are falling at some places and others are rising. Ally Bank (formerly GMAC) is definitely well above the national averages on nearly all deposit terms.
