Certificate of Deposit (CD) is a savings option in which the customer deposits a certain amount of time for a fixed period of time. At the end of the term the customer can withdraw the money along with an interest that gets accrued periodically.

*Editor’s Note: this is an older article, and we have recently updated our research about current Chase CD Rates. For our latest article on Chase Bank CD Rates, please see the following page: Chase CD Rates

Chase Bank provides two kinds of CDs and they are standard Chase Certificate of Deposit and Chase CD Specials. Both options have variable term periods and offer one of the highest CD rates today. The minimum deposit amount for a standard CD is $1,000 while for the CD special it is $10,000. The term period for both the CDs can range from 6 months to 10 years. There is some degree of flexibility in these CDs. A customer can open the CD as a single or joint CD that comes with rights of survivorship.

The current CD rates offered by Chase Bank for a standard CD is 0.25% APY for a 6-month and 12-month term.

As we continue looking at current rates here at Highest CD Rates Info, we turn to look once again at the best Chase Bank certificate of deposit rates right now. Here’s what we found.

*Editor’s Note: this is an older article, and we have recently updated our research about current Chase CD Rates. For our latest article on Chase Bank CD Rates, please see the following page: Chase CD Rates

The highest CD rates at Chase are on their Specials. These require a $10,000 minimum opening deposit, but have a high annual percentage yield (APY) return. There are six terms to choose from.

The 7 month Chase Bank CD rates are 0.75% APY while the 13 month term is 1.01% APY. The 18 month rate is 1.25% APY and the two year is 2.00% APY, which is nationally competitive amongst current CD rates. For 48 months, the return is 2.50% APY and for 60 months the highest CD rates are 3.00% APY.

Other than the Specials, other Chase Bank certificate of deposit rates are the five standard terms. These have a minimum deposit of $1,000 to open and maintain.

The six and twelve month terms offer a 0.25% APY for current CD rates here and the 18, 24, and 36 month terms offer a 1.01% APY. Maybe not the highest CD rates around, but good for those who don’t want to move banks.

Like most offers at any bank, these Chase Bank CD rates can change at any time. If these current CD rates appeal to you, lock your highest CD rates in today. All eligible accounts at Chase Bank, including CDs, are FDIC insured to the fullest extent of the law.

Since we last looked at Chase CD rates, there have been a few changes. So we here at Highest CD Rates Info wanted to bring you up-to-date with the latest in current CD rates at Chase Bank.

*Editor’s Note: this is an older article, and we have recently updated our research about current Chase CD Rates. For our latest article on Chase Bank CD Rates, please see the following page: Chase CD Rates

We focused on the highest CD rates at Chase, which were the CD specials offered in special Chase Bank certificate of deposit rates terms. This is still the case, though the annual percentage yields (APY) have changed, as have a couple of the terms offered in these specials.

All of the Chase Bank CD rates for these specials require a $10,000 minimum deposit, but they yield some of the highest CD rates available at Chase. They are:

7-month term at 1.01% APY

13-month term at 1.25% APY

18 month term at 1.50% APY

24-month term at 2.25% APY

48-month term at 2.50% APY

60-month term at 3.00% APY

Other rates includes Chase Bank CD rates on normal terms of 6 months and 1 year at 0.25% APY and 18, 24, or 36 months at 1.01% APY with a low $1,000 minimum deposit. Honestly, these are not the highest CD rates available for these terms nationally and many other banks have current CD rates that are higher for these standard terms.

Obviously, where Chase CD rates really shine is in those special offers.

Of course, Chase Bank CD rates are subject to change at any time, so if an offer here appeals to you, make sure it’s still available and lock your rate in before it’s gone. All Chase Bank accounts are FDIC insured. Of course, we’ll keep you up to date, so if you need to know the latest on Chase Bank certificate of deposit rates, Highest CD Rates Info will be here.
