All five of the promotional offers require a $5,000 minimum deposit to open and maintain. The current CD rates on the promotional 8 month term are 0.50% annual percentage yield (APY). The 13 month term offers a 0.75% APY and the 24 month term offers a 1.00% APY. The 36 month term has a 1.50% APY and the 60 month term has a 2.00% APY.

Standard Fifth Third CD rates start with a 7 day term and go to 84 months. The highest CD rates are with the longer terms, of course.
