A 6-month investment returns an APY of 0.85%. A 1-year investment returns an APY of 1.30%. Intervest CD rates for an 18-month CD yields 1.50% whereas a 2-year investment returns an APY of 1.80%.

Intervest Certificate of Deposit Rates for a 30-month investment returns an APY of 2.00%. A 3-year investment returns an APY of 2.45%.

Highest CD rates are accrued on longer terms of investment. A 4-year investment returns an APY of 2.75% and a 5-year investment yields an APY of 3.22%.

A 6-year investment returns an APY of 3.23% and a 7-year investment yields 3.24%. An 8-year investment returns an APY of 3.25% whereas a 9-year CD offers an APY of 3.26%. Highest returns are possible on the 10-year certificate of deposit though it is only a fraction higher than the nine year CD, at 3.27%. Minimum deposit requirement is $2,500 for general fixed deposit CDs. IRA investments are also available and offer an APY of 1.35% at a basic investment of $1,000. The highest possible return or APY is possible in case of Jumbo CD for a term of 10 years. These certificates accrue an APY of 3.30%; minimal deposit requirement is $95,000.
