The Key Bank certificate of deposit rates have been reduced in the long term CDs since out last visit. The amount of the reduction is 0.50%.</p>
<p>The Key Bank certificate of deposit rates are in a tiered format with minimum deposit levels being $2,500, $10,000, $25,000 and $50,000. These are the CD rates for those opening an account that already has a savings account with Key Bank.</p>
<p>The current CD rates include the 7 to 119 day CD that is earning an APY of 0.10%, 0.10%, 0.10% and 0.10% respectively. The 120 day to 179 day CD is earning an APY of 0.20%, 0.20%, 0.20% and 0.20%.</p>
<p>The 6 to 12 month CD is earning an APY of 0.20%, 0.20%, 0.20% and 0.20%.The 13 month CD is earning an APY of 0.20%, 0.25%, 0.30%, and 0.30%.</p>

<p>Key Bank certificate of deposit rates come in two options: short term CD and tiered rate CDs. Short term rates start at 7 days and go out to 119 days and returns are the same no matter the term length or deposit amount: 0.10% annual percentage yield (APY).</p>
<p>For Key CD rates at 6 months or longer, terms and deposit amount dictate the returns. Minimum deposits are $2,500.</p>
<p>For a 6, 7, 8 or 9 month term, CD rates at Key Bank are 0.20% APY for up to $9,999 and 0.25% APY above that. Rates for a 10 month term are 0.25% APY no matter the deposit amount.</p>
<p>An 11-month term gives 0.349% APY up to $9,999, 0.399% APY for $10,000 to $24,999 and 0.499% APY at $50,000 or above. 12, 13, 14, and 15 month terms give 0.20% APY for up to $9,999, 0.25% APY for $10,000-$24,999 and 0.349% APY for $25,000 or above.</p>
<p>In teh 16, 17, and 18 month terms, rates are 0.349% APY for up to $9,999, 0.399% APY for $10,000-$24,990 in deposits, and 0.499% APY for $25,000 and more.</p>
<p>Key Bank CD rates for a 19-month term special are 0.499% APY for up to $9,999, 0.548% APY for $10,000-$24,999, and 0.648% APY for $25,000 or more.</p>
<p>For 20, 21, 22, and 23 month terms, rates at 0.349% APY for up to $9,999, 0.399% APY for $10,000-$24,999 and 0.499% APY for $25,000 or more in deposit.</p>
<p>A 24-month term speicla pays 0.598% APY for up to $9,999 in deposits, 0.648% APY for $10,000-$24,999, and 0.747% APY for $25,000 or more.</p>
<p>Highest CD rates at Key Bank are on 10-year terms at 2.078% APY for up to $9,999, 2.127% APY for $10,000-$24,999, and 2.225% APY for $25,000 and above.</p>
<p>Key Bank is, of course, FDIC insured.</p>

The Key Bank Certificate of Deposit Rates for Key Short Term CD is 0.10% for a period of up to 119 days and 0.20% after 120 days for all balances.
