Today on Highest CD Rates Info, we’re going to look at the latest in M&T Bank CD rates to bring you the latest. This bank remains popular amongst our readers, so we’re keeping close tabs on it.

*Editor’s Note: this is an older article, and we have recently updated our research about current M&T Bank CD Rates. For our latest article on M&T Bank Certificate of Deposit Rates, please see the following page: M&T Bank CD Rates

M&T CD rates range in terms from 3 months to 60 months and all require a $5,000 minimum deposit to open and maintain. Some of the CD rates at M&T Bank are nationally competitive at today’s rates.

The 3 and 6 month terms offer a 0.25% annual percentage yield (APY) while the 9 month term gives a 0.50% APY.

At 12 months, 18 months, and 24 months, the current CD rates are 0.75% APY. At 30 months, the term raises those rates to 0.90% APY.

M&T CD rates for a 36 month term are 1.01% APY, which is currently nationally competitive, but not the highest CD rates available. At 48 months, this rises to 1.50% APY, which is more competitive.

The 60 month offer is for 1.75% APY and these CD rates at M&T Bank are nationally competitive and amongst the highest CD rates available now.

Other rates available include IRA CD offers and some Jumbo (over $100,000 deposit) rates. Current CD rates for those are available at a branch office or on the phone and change according to geographic location.

M&T Bank is, of course, fully FDIC insured. If any of these current CD rates appeal to you, lock your M&T Bank CD rates today before they change.

Here at Highest CD Rates Info we aim to provide the latest and most updated CD rates in the current market of today. Today we are focusing on M&T Bank CD Rates, a bank that we have not covered before however with this update we are sure to provide constant current information regarding the best CD rate offers provided by M&T Bank.

*Editor’s Note: this is an older article, and we have recently updated our research about current M&T Bank CD Rates. For our latest article on M&T Bank Certificate of Deposit Rates, please see the following page: M&T Bank CD Rates

In M&T Bank, there are several different service offers in CD rates which range from as low as 6 months to 60 months. Their promotional CD rates are the highest in demand with great offers such as ‘M&T Select Promo CD (for 12 months) with an Annual Percentage Yield of 1.10% to a more substantial APY of 2.25% for a 60 month term (which is the highest CD rate for M&T Bank).

The normal M&T Select CD rates start from as low as a 6 month period up till a 36 month period which differs in level by 6 months. The minimum month period of 6 months gives us an Annual Percentage Yield of 0.55% to the higher amount of 1.01% for both the 24 month period and the 36 month period.

The only catch for both these offers is that customers will have to have opened an M&T Select CD or M&T Select with interest checking account with a minimum of $1,000 required to open this new account (not already on deposit at M&T Bank). Once the CD is opened, a minimum balance to receive the Annual Percentage Yield as listed above is $1.00.
