Today the RBC Bank CD rates are the focus from Highest CD Rates. This financial institution does not openly advertise all of their CD rates.

They do show two RBC Bank certificate of deposit rates on the banks website. Since our last visit just a few months ago the 30 month CD has seen a reduction in the APY they were offering. This reduction is in the amount of 0.10%.

The current CD rates include the 18 month CD that is earning an APY of 0.60%. The best CD rates are from the 30 month CD that is earning an APY of 80%. Both of these terms require the account holder to also have a checking account with RBC Bank that is active and current.

The minimum deposit required is $5,000 and is good for either the standard CD or an IRA CD. The interest rates and the terms are both fixed for the duration of the deposit.

There are also the jumbo CD rates being advertised. The 18 month CD is earning an interest of 0.60%. The 30 month CD is earning an interest rate of 0.80%. Both of these accounts require a minimum deposit of $100,000 and only pay simple interest on the deposit for the term if the account.

If you contact your local RBC Bank, they can inform you of all their CD rates. The terms available are from 7 days to 5 years.

The RBC Bank CD rates were posted on January 4, 2012 but are subject to change without notice.

The RBC Bank CD rates have followed the national trend of going down since the last time Highest CD Rates visited their homepage. The reducing in the term that was present during the last two visits was the 30 month CD. It saw a reduction in its return on investment of 0.35% APY.

The number of terms has also been reduced along with a new one being added in the posted rates. The RBC Bank certificate of deposit rates have added the term of 18 months in what they are openly advertising to the American public while removing three others.

The current CD rates include the 18 month CD that is earning an APY of 0.60%. The best CD rates are from the 30 month CD that is earning an APY of 90%. Both of these terms require the account holder to also have a checking account with RBC Bank. The minimum deposit required is $5,000 and can be either a standard CD or an IRA CD. This is a fixed term and interest rate deposit where the interest is compounded.

There are also the jumbo CD rates being advertised. The 18 month CD is earning an interest of 0.60%. The 30 month CD is earning an interest rate of 0.90%. Both of these accounts require a minimum deposit of $100,000 and only pay simple interest on the deposit for the term if the account.

Minimum deposits for the listed annual percentage yields (APY) for the RBC Bank certificate of deposit rates listed is $5,000 with Jumbo CD rates requiring a $100,000 or higher deposit.

The 15 month term RBC Bank CD rates are 0.75% APY and the 15 month Comm Jumbo yields 0.75% APY as well.

The 25 month term RBC CD rates are 1.00% APY (includes IRA) and the Comm Jumbo for this term yields 1.00% APY as well.

The 60 month term RBC certificate of deposit rates are 1.90% APY with the Comm Jumbo for this term also yielding 1.90% APY.

Some RBC branches also offer special current CD rates on specific in-house offers, including some Rising Rate and PrimeLink packages. Most of the above-listed rates are also available as IRA-linked certificate of deposit accounts.

RBC Bank is fully FDIC insured. If any of these RBC CD rates appeal to you, be sure to lock yours in today as rates change often. The above-listed CD rates are available for current customers either online or in-branch.
