It’s been a while since we here at Highest CD Rates Info brought you up to date on the latest offers at Univest Bank CD rates. So today, we’re going to do that and show you what they can offer you in bank CD rates.

*Editor’s Note: this is an older article, and we have recently updated our research about current Univest Bank CD Rates. For our latest article on Univest Certificate of Deposit Rates, please see the following page: Univest Bank CD Rates

Univest has a lot of offers right now, ranging from 7 days to 72 months. We will start by looking at the special offer, called a 3D-CD which has tiered rates over three years and a $500 minimum deposit to open and maintain. This Univest CD rates offer starts at 1.00% annual percentage yield (APY) for the first year, goes up to 1.40% APY in the second, and 1.80% APY in the third year for a combined 1.40% APY average.

Other Univest Bank CD rates offers are for 7-31 day terms at 0.25% APY and requiring a $2,500 minimum deposit to open and maintain for that short term. After that, bank CD rates require only a $500 minimum deposit to open and maintain.

For 91 days, the highest CD rates are 0.40% APY, for 26 weeks they are 0.50% APY, and for 9 months they are 0.75% APY. At one year, best CD rates are 1.00% APY, at 18 months they are 1.20% APY, and at 24 months they are 1.40% APY.

Univest Bank CD rates for 30 months are 1.60% APY, for 36 months they’re 1.80% APY, and for 48 months they’re 2.10% APY. Best CD Rates are highest CD rates at 60 months with 2.50% APY and 72 months with 2.75% APY.

These rates are for standard CDs and not IRA or Jumbo offers. All accounts at Univest Bank are FDIC insured to the fullest extent of the law.

Looking again at banks outside of our usual repertoire of institutions, we here at Highest CD Rates Info are looking towards what is available for the investor. Today, we’re looking at Univest.

*Editor’s Note: this is an older article, and we have recently updated our research about current Univest Bank CD Rates. For our latest article on Univest Certificate of Deposit Rates, please see the following page: Univest Bank CD Rates

Univest Corporation of Pennsylvania is a premium financial services company in the Mid-Atlantic region. The company offers a multitude of CDs with the maximum term of 72-months. The company offers four types of investment options with the highest CD rates on the fixed-term option. The bank requires a basic investment of $50, irrespective of the nature of investment.

Univest Bank CD rates for these 6-month certificates offer an APY of 0.75%. A 1-year CD would yield 1.25% whereas a 2-year CD returns 1.75%.

Univest CD rates for a 3-year investment would return 2.00% APY at an interest rate of 1.98%. An investment in 4-year certificates would return 2.50% APY and interest rate of 2.47%. CDs with 5- and 6-year terms yield 2.65% and 2.75% APY with interest rates of 2.62% and 2.71%, respectively.

The company’s bank CD rates for IRA options include an 18-month fixed and floating IRA certificate. The fixed investment yields 1.45% APY whereas the floating certificate returns 1.25% APY.

There is another option for investment in the CDs offered by the company. The 18-month flexible option offers constantly fluctuating interest rates as it is dependant on the market. It provides the customers with an opportunity of earning higher profits.

The company has recently introduced another option for investment. It is called 3 D CD and the company offers a guaranteed rate after every 12 months. They have also removed the penalty for the redemption period of first 10 days after the completion of 12-month term.
