We here at Highest CD Rates Info are always looking at the latest certificate of deposit offers from banks like USBank to find the best CD rates.

*Editor’s Note: this is an older article, and we have recently updated our research about current US Bank CD Rates. For our latest article on US Bank Certificate of Deposit Rates, please see the following page: US Bank CD Rates

Minneapolis, Minnesota-based US Bank is one of the major banks in the US. The bank CD rates are therefore important for people that are interested in making an investment in the bank’s savings accounts. CD rates at any bank are subject to change and US Bank does not offer any guarantees that they will remain the same over extended periods of time. The only encouraging factor is the fact that people buying CD at their current rates will benefit from these rates until their maturity.

The best cd rates at US Bank are available for five years of investment where the bank offers an APY of 3.15%. Highest CD rates are only available at this term of investment but a 42-month CD at US Bank also offers a considerable APY of 2.25%.

USBank CD rates for a 27-month CD are currently estimated at 2.00%. Minimum opening balance for CD accounts is $1,000.

US Bank CD rates are available on the company website where visitors can also learn other details about the account and rules and regulations applied by the bank. US Bank reserves the right to impose penalties on account holders that have violated their user agreements and have drawn money from CDs before their maturity. The minimum term CD available at the bank is for one month and the maximum term is five years. CD accounts are automatically renewed at maturity unless otherwise notified by the account holders where the bank will stop the renewal process.

It’s once again time to review US Bank CD rates here at Highest CD Rates Info. The last time we looked at US Bank certificate of deposit rates, they had some very competitive special offers. They still have those offers, though the rates have changed since we last looked at them.

*Editor’s Note: this is an older article, and we have recently updated our research about current US Bank CD Rates. For our latest article on US Bank Certificate of Deposit Rates, please see the following page: US Bank CD Rates

US Bank CD rates specials are in three terms: 13, 25, and 59 months duration. All three have a minimum opening deposit requirement of $1,000 and their interest is paid annually and at maturity, with the exception of the 13 month US Bank certificate of deposit rates, which pay at maturity only.

With US Bank being one of the largest banks in the country, it’s likely that there is a branch near you where you can find more information if you need it.

Current CD rates at US Bank for these specials are as follows: 1.01% APY for 13 months, 2.00% APY for 25 months, and 4.00% APY for 59 months. Those annual percentage yields are competitive for those terms, especially that 59 month offer.

In fact, looking at rates nationally, that 59-month offer at 4.00% APY is one of the highest CD rates nationally for that term right now. Definitely worth considering if it’s in your investment range.

Of course, all accounts at US Bank are FDIC insured to the fullest extent of the law. US Bank certificate of deposit rates change often, so if you see anything you’d like in these US Bank CD rates, lock yours in now before they change. While we feel that these current CD rates at US Bank are worth looking into, the decision to invest is yours.

U.S. Bank is one of the largest commercial banks in the United States. So, we here at Highest CD Rates Info decided we would take a look at US Bank CD rates to see how they compare to the competition.

*Editor’s Note: this is an older article, and we have recently updated our research about current US Bank CD Rates. For our latest article on US Bank Certificate of Deposit Rates, please see the following page: US Bank CD Rates

The most interesting US Bank Certificate of Deposit rates that we found were from the US Bank Special CDs.

The US Bank 13 Month CD Special earns an interest rate of 1.73 percent, corresponding to an Annual Percentage Yield (APY) of 1.75 percent. This US Bank CD requires a minimum deposit of $1,000.

The US Bank 37 Month CD Special earns an interest rate of 2.57 percent, corresponding to an APY of 2.60 percent. This US Bank certificate of deposit also requires a minimum deposit of $1,000.

The US Bank 59 Month CD Special earns an interest rate of 3.68 percent, corresponding to an APY of 3.75 percent. And again, this US Bank CD requires a minimum deposit of $1,000. While 59 months is one month shy of a true 5 year CD (or 60 month CD), that 3.75 APY is higher than any of the other 5 year CD rates that we are aware of, earning it a mention as one of the highest CD rates out there.

So, if you have been thinking of a 1 year CD, 3 year CD, or a 5 year CD, you may want to consider these US Bank CD Specials as an interesting alternative. Please be sure to check the US Bank online banking web site for the latest rates and terms available in your area, because CD interest rates can change quickly and vary by location.
