The amount of reduction is from 0.25% to 1.50% in the APYs they were offering the public.</p>
<p>The current CD rates for the 3 month CD is earning an APY of 0.10%. The 6 month CD is earning san APY of 0.20%. The 9 month CD is earning an APY of 0.25%.</p>
<p>The 1 year CD is earning an APY of 0.35%. The 18 month CD is earning an APY of 0.45%. The 2 year CD is earning an APY of 0.50%.</p>
<p>The 30 month CD is earning an APY of 0.65%. The 3 year CD is earning an APY of 0.75%. The 4 year CD is earning an APY of 0.85%.</p>
<p>The 5 year CD is earning an APY of 0.90%. The best CD rates are on the 6 year CD that is earning an APY of 1.00%.</p>
<p>To obtain the Valley National Bank certificate of deposit rates you must make a minimum deposit of $500. The IRA CDs have the same rates per term but the minimum deposit amount required is only $250.</p>

<p>Valley National Bank certificate of deposit rates for multiple maturity and pass book CDs ranging from $500 to $500000, and for a term of 90 days, the deposit interest is 0.20% APY. The rates for 6 months are 0.35% and for 9 months, it is 0.50%. The rate for a period of 12 months is 0.65%, 18 months is 0.85%, 24 months is 1.15%, 30 months is 1.20%, 60 months is 2.25% and 72 months is 2.75% respectively.</p>
<p>Valley National CD rates for single or multiple maturity CDs for a deposit of $100000 and more is 0.20% Ay for a period of 7 to 14 days, 0.25% for 1 month, 0.30% for 2 months, 0.40% for 3 months and 0.60% for 6 months respectively.</p>
<p>In case of pre-closures penalty will be the loss of 90 days interest for deposit maturity that have a term period of less than 1 year. If it is more than 1 year and less than 2 years f 180 days interest, for 2 to 5 years maturity, 365 days interest and for maturity of 5 years or more, 540 days interest will be levied.
