The highest CD rates at Chase are on their Specials. These require a $10,000 minimum opening deposit, but have a high annual percentage yield (APY) return. There are six terms to choose from.
The 7 month Chase Bank CD rates are 0.75% APY while the 13 month term is 1.01% APY. The 18 month rate is 1.25% APY and the two year is 2.00% APY, which is nationally competitive amongst current CD rates. For 48 months, the return is 2.50% APY and for 60 months the highest CD rates are 3.00% APY.
Other than the Specials, other Chase Bank certificate of deposit rates are the five standard terms. These have a minimum deposit of $1,000 to open and maintain.
The six and twelve month terms offer a 0.25% APY for current CD rates here and the 18, 24, and 36 month terms offer a 1.01% APY. Maybe not the highest CD rates around, but good for those who don’t want to move banks.
