It has been observed that the CD rates from Webster Bank have been reduced since our last visit. The amount of reduction in the rates is from 0.10% to 0.50%. The 16 month term CD is also no longer available.</p>
<p>The current CD rates include the 6 month liquid CD that is earning an APY of 0.10%. This term allows for one early withdraw from the account during its term without a penalty fee being accessed to the account. You can also add to this account in increments of $500.</p>
<p>The 1 year CD is earning an APY of 0.50%. The 2 year CD is earning an APY of 0.75%. The 3 year CD is earning an APY of 1.00%.</p>
<p>The 4 year CD is earning an APY of 1.25%. The best CD rates are from the 5 year CD that is earning an APY of 1.50%.</p>
<p>The Webster Bank certificate of deposit rates require a minimum deposit amount of $1,000. The minimum balance to earn the APY is $0.01. There is a tiered deposit system in place, but at this time all of the CD rates immaterial of the deposit amount are the same. You must also have an open and active WebsterOne or Premier checking account to be eligible for the current Webster CD rates.</p>

Since our last visit near Halloween, the CD rates from not been reduced.</p>
<p>The CDs are set up in a tiered format with the minimum deposit amounts being $1,000 and $90,000. For depositors under the age of 18 the minimum deposit amount is only $500. They will also only receive the lower of the two CD rates.</p>
<p>The current CD rates include the 14 day to 2 month CD that is earning an APY of 0.10%. This is only available for deposits over $90,000.</p>
<p>The 3 month CD is earning an APY of 0.20% and 0.25% respectively. The 4 to 5 month CD is earning an APY of 0.30% and 0.35%.</p>
<p>The 6 to 11 month CD is earning an APY of 0.35% and 0.40%. The 12 to 17 month CD is earning an APY of 0.50% and 0.55%.</p>
<p>The 18 to 23 month CD is earning an APY of 0.75% and 0.80%. The 24 to 35 month CD is earning an APY of 1.00% and 1.05%.</p>
<p>The 36 to 47 month CD is earning an APY of 1.50% and 1.55%. The 48 to 59 month CD is earning an APY of 1.75% and 1.80%.</p>
<p>The best CD rates are from the 60 month CD that is earning an APY of 2.25% and 2.30%.</p>

It has been some time since Wells Fargo took a controlling interest of Wachovia, but they allowed it to remain as a separate entity. That has now ended. Below are the Wells Fargo CD rates that have replaced the Wachovia rates for the future.</p>
<p>The current CD rates for the standard CDs include the 3 month CD that is earning an APY of 0.01%. The 6 month CD is earning an APY of 0.05%.</p>
<p>The 1 year CD is earning an APY of 0.05%. Each of these CDs requires a minimum deposit amount of $2,500 at the time the account is opened.</p>
<p>There are also the promotional CD rates include the 9 month CD that is earning an APY of 0.15%. This CD renews as a 6 month CD. The 26 month CD is earning an APY of 0.55%. This CD renews as a 2 year CD.</p>
<p>The 39 month is earning an APY of 0.70%. This CD renews as a 3 year CD. The best CD rates are from the 58 month CD that is earning an APY of 1.15%. This CD renews as a 4 year CD.</p>
<p>Each of these promotional CD requires a minimum deposit of $5,000 to open an account. All of these CDs can be opened online or at a branch office for your convenience.</p>

<p>The promotional CDs include the 19 month CD that is currently earning an APY of 1.01%. The 37 month CD is earning an APY of 1.25%. The 59 month CD is earning an APY of 2.05%. These require a minimum deposit of $1,000.</p>
<p>The current CD rates include the 1 thru 9 month CD that is earning an APY of 0.05%. The 1 year CD is earning an APY of 0.10%</p>
<p>The 18 month CD is earning an APY of 0.25%. The 2 year CD is earning an APY of 0.45%. The 3 year CD is earning an APY of 0.70%.</p>
<p>The 4 year CD is earning an APY of 1.00%. The best CD rates are from the 5 year CD that is earning an APY of 1.40%.</p>

<p>To obtain the Univest Bank certificate of deposit rates you must make a deposit of $2,500 for the 7 to 31 day CD.  The remaining standard CD’s only require a deposit of $500.  The IRA CDs only require a minimum deposit of $5.</p>
<p>The current CD rates include the 7 to 31 day CD is earning an APY of 0.05%. The 91 day CD is earning an APY of 0.05%.</p>
<p>The 26 week CD is earning an APY of 0.15%. The 9 month CD is earning an APY of 0.25%. The 1 year CD is earning an APY of 0.35%.</p>
<p>The 18 month CD is earning an APY of 0.45%. The 2 year CD is earning an APY of 0.60%. The 30 month CD is earning an APY of 0.75%.</p>

<p>The current CD rates of the Basic CD are an APY of 0.40% with an 11 month term.</p>
<p>The No Catch CDs include the 6 month CD that is earning an APY of 0.30%. The 1 year CD is earning an APY of 0.20%. This type of CD permits an early withdraws of funds from the account one time before the term of the CD expires. The</p>
<p>The Step Rate CD is an investment CD that has an increasing interest rate over the term of the deposit. But the interest along with the APY changes annually.  The 3 year CD is earning an APY of 0.40% for the first year, 0.50% in the second and 0.75% in the third for an overall APY of 0.55%.</p>
<p>The best CD rates are from the 5 year CD is earning an APY of 0.70% in the first year with the second year earning an APY of 0.85%, the third year an APY of 0.90%, the fourth year an APY of 1.00% and the fifth year an APY of 1.75%. The overall APY is 1.03%.</p>
<p>To earn the TD Bank certificate of deposit rates a minimum deposit of $250 must be placed in the bank.</p>

The amount of increase is 0.10% and 0.70%.</p>
<p>The current CD rates include the 9 month CD that is earning an APY of 0.25%. The 15 month CD that is earning an APY of 0.45%.</p>
<p>The 25 month CD is earning an APY of 0.65%. The 37 month CD is earning an APY of 0.85%. The best CD rates are from the 59 month CD that is earning an APY of 2.00%.</p>
<p>These CD rates are available for both the consumer and business accounts.</p>
<p>The other terms available of SunTrust Bank certificate of deposit rates are from 7 days to 10 years but they are not all openly advertised. If you wish to invest in the standard CDs, then you must contact your local SunTrust Bank branch office.</p>
<p>The minimum amount that must be put on deposit to open a CD account and obtain the above rates is $2,000. The maximum amount covered by the FDIC for deposits is $250,000 but you can place on deposit up to $1,000,000 with this financial institution but a majority of it will not be insured.</p>
