San Diego County Credit Union CD Rates October 2011 Update
This review of the San Diego County Credit Union CD rates done by Highest CD Rates has shown many changes. The promotional CDs have a longer term with lower rates than during our last visit. The standard CD rates have also been reduced in that same time period from 0.10% to 0.40% APR.
The San Diego County Credit Union certificate of deposit rates are in a tiered format with minimum deposit amounts of $2,000, $10,000 and $90,000.
The current CD rates include the promotional offers of the 13 month CD that is earning an APY of 0.80%, 0.80% and 0.85% respectively. The best CD rates are from the 54 month CD that is earning an APY of 2.35%, 2.35% and 2.40%. Both of these promotional CDs require you to have an active checking account with SDCU.
The standard CD rates include the 3 month CD that is earning an APY of 0.15%, 0.20% and 0.25% respectively. The 6 month CD is earning an APY of 0.30%, 0.35% and 0.40%.
The 1 year CD is earning an APY of 0.40%, 0.45% and 0.50%. The 18 month CD is earning an APY of 0.75%, 0.80% and 0.85%.
The 2 year CD is earning an APY of 0.90%, 0.95% and 1.00%. The 3 year CD is earning an APY of 1.20%, 1.25% and 1.30%.
The 4 year CD is earning an APY of 1.40%, 1.45% and 1.50%. The 5 year CD is earning an APY of 1.90%, 1.95% and 2.00%.
