TD Bank CD Rates July 2011 Update
Today at Highest CD Rates we are back at the TD Bank CD rates to update you on this subject of interest. The TD Bank certificate of deposit rates are following the same trend as the other financial institutions in this nation; they are all still going lower.
The current CD rates that are from the Basic CD category include a term of 11 months and are earning an APY of 0.40%.
There is also the No Catch CD that permits a withdraw of funds from the account one time before the term of the CD expires. The 6 month CD that is earning an APY of 0.30%. The 1 year CD is earning an APY of 0.20%. This is not a miss print.
The Step Rate CD is an investment that has an increasing interest rate over the term of the CD that occurs annually. The 3 year CD is earning an APY of 0.60% for the first year, 0.85% in the second and 1.19% in the third for an overall APY of 0.88%.
The best CD rates are from the 5 year CD is earning an APY of 0.80% in the first year with the second year earning an APY of 0.95%, the third year an APY of 1.14%, the fourth year an APY of 1.24% and the fifth year an APY of 2.23%. The overall APY is 1.27%.
